High tobacco quality without additives

Of course, like all Natural American Spirit® tobaccos, our Natural American Spririt Organic tamping tobacco in a tin is free from additives. It has the best tamping properties thanks to its high quality and processing.

The slightly weaker but just as good as the American Spirit Blue.

The tamping tobacco meets the strict criteria of the US Department of Agriculture for organic farming. This means that fertilizers and pesticides may no longer be used 3 years in advance.

The bags are made from "FSC Mix" certified material. This meets the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which is committed to the preservation of forests and exemplary forest management worldwide.

The cultivation of this exceptional tobacco is more complex than that of other tobaccos, although the areas under cultivation are often much smaller.
It is mainly family farms that we are able to inspire with our idea. "We plant sunflowers next to our tobacco", says Richard Ward, a 4th generation tobacco farmer, "this attracts ladybugs, which naturally keep pests away from the tobacco plant".

The careful cultivation of tobacco ensures excellent quality, protects the environment and promotes sustainable agriculture. In many farms, the tobacco leaves are still harvested by hand due to the small areas under cultivation, as the use of machines is not worthwhile. After harvesting, the coarse leaf veins are removed and the Natural American Spirit Organic tobacco is left to mature for up to 3 years. This allows the aromas to develop for a very special smoking experience.
