You can switch on the light with the small button on the top of the alarm. When the chain at the top of the alarm is pulled, the pin separates from the device and a piercing alarm sound goes off. This way you can confuse your attacker and draw their attention to you. If you want to switch off the alarm, you have to insert the pin again  
Alternatively, you can press the alarm button twice quickly and the alarm will go off at 130 decibels and the light will flicker. You can switch it off by pressing and holding the alarm button for approx. 3 seconds.

This key fob alarm can be recharged via USB using the cable supplied.
